We have been discussing setup up a FallOut 4 forum for the upcoming FallOut New Vegas coming out during the upcoming holiday season. Would people here like us to bring this forum live, like a beta, before the release? Basically build up the new forum with news, updates, posts (from anyone), and previews on the upcoming release?

I have a question, will you keep the active moderators like me, Synch, and well, Alzone hasn't been too active lately. And I don't think I've ever read a post by JoshDude. I really enjoy helping people on this site, and I most definetely want to help them again!  |

Sure Cal, beta testing here. Always better before going public. That way any bugs can get worked out, as well ensuring accuracy of topics, facts, anything of this nature. Cheers |

I was probably going to port the current userbase over to the additional site so everyone could access both sites with the same username. I know Alzone is off the messageboard for a bit. Should be back soon. The other two, I'll see whats up.

good idea we should make a beta forum for it so before it goes live we tell them news about the game and that so we can get stuff and good ideas oh and fallout 4 or new vegas when is it coming out so we can set out beta forums 2 months before it comes out

Sounds good. Easiest way, IMO. I've been involved with testing beta sites for my other forums, and regardless of format or package, (vBulletin, Simple machine, etc.) having the same accounts set to active makes that bit always a little easier. Cheers  |

As a gamer, I'm surprised that I didn't know Fallout 4's release date. Sadly... it will take another month or 2 before I actually can get it, but the FO 4 forum beta idea is good.
