Heck I think the whole game is scary. Chit!! Except Megaton and cruising around in the wasteland.

The place that made me jump the most was getting the dish for Mad Dog. After we killed the first 2 super mutants I was just cruising around, not paying attention, fell down in the trench, didn't think too much about it...followed it, found the door at the end of the trench, went in...2 super mutants were in there, so I decided to turn around and go back out the door...yep...4 super mutants were right on top of me as soon as the picture came up. Scared me. LOL.

Definately Dunwich. And the music only builds the tension. Shocked
I second that. The Dunwich building is a very different place depending on whether you have the Ghoul Mask or not...

Totally. If you don't have the ghoul mask, it is a fight.
Worse than any other interior. Than at the bottom, total hell.

One aspect is hiding behind the wall, then listen for Jaime to say
"What was that - Must just be my imagination", then strike.
Once covered the area, you can relax and check out the obelisk.
Weird place there at the bottom, but it is the climax of Dunwich.

That's pretty nasty at such an early level.
If you go back, the Old Olney undergound is worse.
Stealth Boys and surprise attacks helps.
The Flamer eats them up, frag grenades as well.
Thing about those guys is you want to use the Dartgun
which slows them way down, works best on them as
opposed to other creatures, mutants, raiders, etc.

Yeah, but I'm not sure what materials are needed to make a dartgun, and even then, what level repair or whatever does my guy need to be, and where can I find the materials.

the ghoul mask is a reward for helping the ghouls get into tenpenny tower, the quest can be started there.

but talking about scary places... the whole game is scary to me actually, I never liked horror movies or insects... yet I'm attracted to this type of game plus the character system. now I completely realize how easy going oblivion was. I was at jefferson memorial and it wasn't okay for me already. I gotta say I'm too weak-minded for this game  Cry
