The Deathclaw Sancuary is scary, for the most part, it is pitch black, and your pip-boy light doesn't do too much for that. And it is super confusing to get out, plus you are constantly being jumped by Deathclaws. |

the only hellhole for me was the vault 101 when i started playing fallout for the first time it was just like "omfg let me out of this piece of junk" after that never been scared, but only once i just jumped up from my own gunshot... i just woke up and first thing started fallout:D i accidently touch my laptop mouse toucpad and boom... and i was just like "god dammit please don't kill me"  |

Vault 101 scared you? How did Vault 101 scare you?! There's nothing scary about it! Try Vault 87, or pretty much any other Vault! Even the Vault tour in the Museum of Technology is scarier than Vault 101!  |

Even the Vault tour in the Museum of Technology is scarier than Vault 101! that was at the beginning i hate to be stuck in some kind a piece of junk  but yeah i know its not scary and right now theres nothing that can really scare me in fo3 and im moving right to dunwich building to see if this house can change that  oh and i've been in vault 87 it's not scary |

the Dunwich building is pretty scary because if your in first chouls pop out of every corner. And the flashbacks are pretty disturbing too

Scariest place for me was Vault 106 - so far. Haven't been to Dunwich, or the deathclaw or mau guai caves yet.
Vault 106 was the second "dungeon" I visited after coming out of 101. (the first was Springvale School). I was just going down the stairs and [spoiler]OH GOD WHY IS IT PURPLE OH SHIT WHAT'S MY DAD DOING HERE WHY DID THEY ALL JUST DISAPPEAR TIME TO RUN![/spoiler]
I freaked right the fck out the first time I saw a mau guai though. Deathclaw was okay, I saw it when I was coming over a hill by the campground, and shot it with my hunting rifle from a safe distance.
The combat shotgun makes for a nice security blanket. I was kind of disappointed that it doesn't look like a SPAS-12 though. Also, the name kind of bothers me - aren't all the guns in Fallout used for combat? Other games have this problem too.

For me definently the Dunwich Building and Vault 106.
I read about 106 before and when i came up to it, i got confused between vaults so i thought it was perfectly normal. Once i was about 5 minutes in, the screen went purple and 5 crazed vault citizens attacked me and fawkes. It scared the crap out of me so i high tailed it out of there

my scariest place is vault 108 with gary old olney deathclaw sanctuary and museum of history old olney-because deathclaws same reason with deathclaw sanctuary
museum of history-because i went into underworld not knowing what was in there and i saw a ghoul walking towards me i was like crap! my hearth was pounding
note: why is everyone making a fuss bout dunwich it aint scary just stick to a wall with a good gun like combat shotty or something and the illusion with jaime when he turns to glowing one ill admit thats freaky and what is that obelisk for a god and on youtube i someone kill jaime and mentioned something about someone called xander owen or something
