Anyone else fight these jokers?
I came across a small squad of them outside of Vault 106, they have good weapons and armor, but no head armor, so head shots took all three of them down quickly.
Does anyone know if Talon has a headquarters that I can go raid?

I was trying not to fight them because they were killing raiders with me, but then one dude jumped in front of my headshot on a raider. The quickly turned their attention to me... needless to say, that was a big mistake on their part.

These Talon Merc Company guys appear every so often. The first time I ran into them they just attacked me for some strange reason and I killed them all. After I raided their bodies I found a contract out on me for 1000 caps but I dont know who put the contract out on me.....

Yeah that is what I am trying to figure out if they have a camp where they store all that nice armor and weapons and go on a killing spree.

If you killed Mr Burke, or even talk mean to him when you're talking with him, there is a contract out on you. So far I have run into several groups trying to collect on it:
Hitmen
Mercenaries
Regulators
I have found so far that the regulators are the toughest to deal with as they travel in a group of 3 or more, and all have great weapons.

regulators are all that came after my first character. they are some bad ass dudes. they always carry laser or chinese assaults. one dude had a laser minigun. i mean come on i'm just one guy thats not really necessary. but i killed him to lol.

big fan of the Chinese Assault rifle too - better dam than the assault rifle I got attacked by these talon guys right near the start - i was fresh out of the vault and headed to the super duper mart. I had spoken to burke but said i'd get back to him so hadn't pi**ed him off, yet they still had the contract to kill me. I wondered if it was the overseer from vault 101 - after all i did threaten to kill his daughter in order to escape! In regards to a camp... I did find a loooooad of them near the capitol building in DC, but can't decide if they were just attacking the super mutants at the white house or whether the super mutants were attacking them. I popped a stealth and ran like hell the other way as I was on the GNR washington memorial quest section (the dish) and was low on ammo. keep fighting the good fight  |

talon company do have a base in the wasteland ive been there its an old army camp i forget the name of it lol  , there is a leader there too  after i wiped them out they never came after me again lol |

Its Fort Bennington or something like that.
First a Mister Gutsy attacks you and two mercs with friggin missle launchers.
And they follow you too.
If you go into the camp you run across about 3 more.
THEN if you go into the underground layer theres a bunch down there too.
And alot of them have missle launchers.

the first time i walked into the bottom level i just started poppin off shots at the ground level mercs then 2 or 3 missiles just came out of no where and i was practically dead. stayed alive just in time to get hit w/ another barrage of missiles from above before i finally died.
